Admission to the Center for EMS Education is on a first-come first-served basis. Students
are selected from a list of applicants based on their qualifications, prerequesites, entrance
examination scores, and campus preference. Classes fill quickly, so early registration is strongly
encouraged.

We offer many scholarship programs. Please take a moment
and see if you may qualify.
To begin the process, please register online as either an HVA Employee
or Non-HVA Employee applicant. To qualify as an HVA Employee applicant,
you must include the HVA department in which you currently work.
Be sure to complete the online registration form in its entirety. In order to qualify for the discounted
tuition rate, students must submit a copy of their current course schedule along with a copy of their student
ID via fax to (734) 477-6927.
For the professional discount, firefighters must submit a letter from their
fire chief proving they are a member in good standing with the department. All documents must be received
prior to the start of class. Please note that no discounts can be applied once classes begin! For more
